We are coming to a close and it's bittersweet. I think this year just flew by and I've had such a great time with your kiddos. I can't thank you enough for the love, support, and communication you've shown towards me and our classroom of 4B. Thank you a million times over!

Over the summer, I stress a few things that are so important:
1. Your child should read EVERY single day for at least 20 minutes.
2. Students should practice basic math fact to stay sharp.
3. Students should practice long division; practice multiplication with two-digit factors on the bottom.
4. Work with fractions: adding, subtracting (like and unlike denominators), simplify fractions
5. Get outside as much as possible!
Spirit Schedule for our LAST week:
Tuesday: Tie Dye Day
Wednesday: Spirit Day
Thursday: Sports Day
Friday: Dress Your Best
On Thursday, we will have a Rita's Water Ice party in the afternoon. Students are welcome to bring a towel or blanket to sit on while we enjoy our treat in the afternoon. We will have a small awards ceremony : )
I have a small gift for the kids that I think I will give them when they come in on Tuesday : )
All grades are in MSP. I just adjusted math grades after giving extra credit on Friday. The math final seemed difficult for some. I gave ten problems that were the exact same from the test. Students had the potential to add 5 points to their grade on the test where each problem was worth .5 for extra credit.
We will continue lessons for each subject area this week. We will clean and organize the classroom as well.
On Friday, we have an all school mass. Dismissal is at 11:00AM.
I will send emails if there is any other information that needs to be shared.
Love,
Mrs. Cacaccio
