What a gorgeous day to reflect on what is so important to us in this beautiful life we've been given. I'm so grateful for the fantastic year I've had with these kiddos. I'm holding on to the last couple of months!!! I hope you're having a wonderful and relaxing Easter.
Our field trip to Riverbend is Thursday, April 20th!
Have an amazing week!
Love,
Mrs. Cacaccio
RELIGION:
Students took their Chapter 21 quiz. We will work on Chapter 22 this week. We have a Beatitudes craft to help us remember the 8 Beatitudes!
MATH:
Students took their Chapter 6 test on Tuesday. This week, we start Chapter 9 Fractions (Yes another chapter on fractions!). This chapter will build on our previous chapter where we worked with fractions.
ELA:
This week we read parts of a Scholastic News. Should texting and crossing the street be illegal? We wrote letters to the Schwenksville mayor to let him know our opinions!
We will read an anthology story this week. Students will not have to study the vocab. or spelling words. We will look at both, but because of the wacky week, they will not be tested.
We WILL NOT have spelling words this week.
WRITING:
We will make more poems this week with other styles of poetry.
SCIENCE:
We will actually finish the last lesson in the unit this week. We will then have a review for the Plants and Structure test.
REMINDERS:
1. Dress Down Day: Wednesday, April 19th
2. Book Fair Week: Tuesday, April 18th-Thursday, April 20th
3. Fieldtrip to Riverbend: Thursday, April 20th
4. Race 4 Ed.: Tuesday, April 25th
