Have an amazing week!

RELIGION:
Students have the Unit 5 test on Monday. We will play Stump the Shepherd before as a review. We will then work on the religion performance assessment and review for the final!
MATH:
We are working out way through geometry. Students will not have a test on this chapter or the next (decimals). We will begin reviewing for the final little by little.
ELA:
This week we played "catch up" and completed the listening and speaking grades for Trimester 3. We also worked on poetry and illustrations...getting ready for our publishing party!
In class, most students have finished putting their national parks handout together! They look great!
AT HOME, students are to make a small diorama about their national park.
DIORAMA DUE DATE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 24TH.
We will read Scholastic News this week.
We WILL NOT have spelling words this week.
WRITING:
We will continue with poetry this week, exploring different poets and styles.
SCIENCE:
We continued a little bit of our last unit, Animal Structure and Fuction. We also worked on an ELA/Science gift that is for both Mother's Day and Father's Day (since we aren't here for Father's Day).
We have a Performance Assessment from the archdiocese to complete by the end of May. This is an assessment that doesn't require studying and is a small lab activity. I'd like to fit it in this week.
