This is probably my favorite quote from a truly inspiring young individual. The kids held it together all week during testing! We have one more day and we are finished!
Mrs. Kessler let us know that there will be breakfast tomorrow. She has a bunch of leftover breakfast goodies! Yay!
Last week in March! Wow! Have an amazing week!
Love,
Mrs. Cacaccio
RELIGION:
During this past week we completed Chapter 19 for the last commandment in our 10 Commandment Booklets! This week, we will use Chapter 20 which is a review chapter to get ready for the unit test. I'd like to give the test next Monday, April 3.
MATH:
We started Chapter 6, Measurement on Friday where we practiced using our rulers to measure items to the nearest inch, half inch, and quarter inch. We will continue with Chapter 6 this week!
ELA:
This week we read through a Scholastic News. I originally had an anthology story planned, but testing made things pretty crazy schedule wise!
We will read an anthology story this week.
We WILL HAVE spelling words this week.
WRITING:
Students have really blown my mind with their poetry skills. I have ordered another bound book package so we can have a SECOND book made. We are working hard to get our poems and illustrations complete to make sure the books come by mid- May!
SCIENCE:
Students started gathering information and ideas for their bee iMovie. Why is the bee population declining? What would life be like without bees? These are some of the questions students will be answering in their videos. We cant wait to record and then watch them!
REMINDERS:
1. Dress Down Day: Thursday, March 30
2. Book Order Submission will be: Thursday, March 30
Classroom Wish List:
